FVI is a vision system able to carry out visual inspections,
analysis and dimensional controls on connectors and terminals primarily used in the automobile
industry.
FVI is used for checking the quality of laser weldings on connectors
employed in the car industry.
The inspection system, directly used on the connectors production line, shows the correct
terminal position and verifies the welding quality.
At the same time, through an additional camera, a
control on the ceramic base of the hybrid is carried out, verifying the presence of eventual
leaks or micro splits.
FVI is moreover used for the surfaces inspection in the "wire
bonding" technology. The analyses allow to identify the presence of digital fingerprints, oil or
plastic residuals as well as scratches or dents on the welding surface.
