FWI „Wheels Inspection System“
FWI is an automatic inspection system, planned for the verification in line of multiple characteristics of steel and alloy wheels.
The main system characteristics are:

Recognition of type and wheel aesthetic characteristics |

Analysis of dimensional characteristics for wheels with diameters starting from 12" and widths from 3˝" |
|
Recognition and data interpretation on labels |
|
Wheel roundness and concentricity control |
|
Presence and dimensional control of holes and threads |
|
Surface control (ex. painting quality, etc.) |
|
Recognition and marking interpretation on black or chrome and aluminum background |
|
Presence, dimension and quality verification of weldings |
The entire cycle time required to carry out simultaneously all the above indicated inspections depends from the involved controls, however between 3” and ~10” for wheel.
